The Week Contest
This week’s question: A congressional candidate from Miami, Bettina Rodriguez Aguilera, has claimed that at age 7 she was abducted by tall, blond aliens and taken for a ride in their spaceship. In seven words or fewer, please come up with an extraterrestrial-themed campaign slogan that could help Rodriguez Aguilera win the support of skeptical voters.
Last week’s contest: Four people were arrested after a fistfight broke out in an “empathy tent” at the University of California, Berkeley, a space where left-wing activists and supporters of President Trump were supposed to find common ground. Please come up with a more appropriate name for a place where these two sides can meet to discuss their differences.
THE WINNER: The malcon-tent Craig Kesselheim, Southwest Harbor, Maine
SECOND PLACE: The bicker-ring Anthony Scattini, Danville, Calif.
THIRD PLACE: The hurt yurt —James Smith, New York City
