President Trump on Thursday described Pearl Harbor in a way that it's never been described before, calling the surprise bombing of Hawaii in 1941 a "pretty wild scene."

"George, George, thank you George," Trump said during his remembrance speech, turning to one of the veterans standing behind him. "That was a pretty wild scene. You'll never forget that, right?"

Needless to say, people were a little surprised by Trump's characterization of an event that left 2,403 Americans dead:
